Episode 13 - Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Michael and Gina finally return after a long hiatus, and they are ready to start Phase Three of the MCU! This week, Captain America and his new version of the Howlin' Commandos face off against Iron Man and his his band of merry people. Are there consequences, or does the eventual war between them remain...civil? What does this movie mean for the rest of Phase Three? Is the villain's evil scheme really to, yet again, split up the Avengers? And where the hell were Michael and Gina the last few weeks? You should listen and find out!

Episode 12 - Ant-Man (2015)

After the over-the-top action of Avengers: Age of Ultron, the MCU shrinks down in scale a bit with Ant-Man. Is Ant-Man a worth installment in the MCU, or is it a movie that deserves to be squashed like a bug? Also, this movie marks the end of Phase 2 of the MCU. What did Michael and Gina think about Phase 2, and are they excited about what coming in Phase 3? Also, they answer your mail, dream about Paul Rudd,  and remember the great Chadwick Boseman, star of Black Panther and so many other movies. 

Episode 11 - Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

The Avengers are back to save the world from evil again. This time they are up against an army of robotic James Spaders. Does this outing capture the magic of the first Avengers movie, or is it a big bloated mess? Maybe it's something in between? Also in this episode: Michael and Gina answer your questions, Michael tries to conquer the 24-second synopsis, once and for all, and we go all-in on the most important character in the Avengers...Hawkeye. Seriously...Hawkeye. Yep.

Episode 10 - Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Look, there's not a lot to say about this episode, except someone, maybe, did not like Guardians of the Galaxy as much as the rest of the world. Someone (we won't name names) is most certainly NOT Groot. But please listen to this episode anyway. We discuss the movie, do some listener mail, and, you know, other stuff. So check it out!

Episode 9 - Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

Last time we checked on Captain America, Black Widow, and Nick Fury, they were saving New York City from the Chitauri in The Avengers. Now it's two years later, and we find Steve Rogers working for S.H.I.E.L.D. and trying to adjust to the modern world, while taking on a new(?) threat. Will Captain America save the day? Is this movie everything Thor: The Dark World was not? What the heck is Robert Redford doing in this movie. Michael and Gina will answer all of this AND MORE on this week's episode.

Episode 8 - Thor: The Dark World (2014)

When we last left Thor, he was bringing Loki back to Asgard to punish him for the destruction he helped cause in The Avengers. Also, Thor kinda just forgot about Jane Foster. Weird. Now the lovebirds reunite in Thor: The Dark World, considered by many to be one of the weaker MCU films. Do Michael and Gina agree with this assessment, or will this surpass all expectations due to an unbreakable bond between Thor and Jane and the sinister charisma of Loki? Find out in the latest episode!

Episode 7 - Iron Man 3 (2013)

Michael and Gina return from their short hiatus to dive into Phase 2 of the MCU and talk about the third installment of the Iron Man trilogy. Is it the best of the Iron Man films, or did it just slowly rust away? Episode 6 - The Avengers (2012)

Michael and Gina have finally made it to the end of Phase 1 of the MCU! Will The Avengers live up to the hype? Was Joss Whedon the best person for the job of bringing a bunch of superheroes together without it feeling like a bloated disaster? Will Gina finally conquer the curse of the 23-second synopsis? Episode 5 - Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

Michael and Gina take a deep dive into Captain America: The First Avenger, the last movie before we finally get to The Avengers. After flaming out in two Fantastic Four movies (because he played The Human Torch), does Chris Evans have what it takes to play the super soldier? Is Red Skull the most terrifying villain in the MCU so far? How giddy were Michael and Gina about this movie (SPOILER: very)? Michael and Gina continue their march toward the end of Phase 1 and take a look at Thor, the fourth movie in the MCU.
